This triangle shawl with long wings worked across from one end to the other. The form is slightly curved. The length is enough to wear the shawl wrapped around the shoulder and waist like a vest.

Upper part is knitted in Garter Stitch, you could use it as a collar. The yarn is very soft and durably at the same time. The shawl is warm and was intended for cool weather.

The knitting pattern was inspired by elements from the Russian knitting technique of famous Orenburg scarves and shawls. The stitch pattern is based on the Grater Stitch

The size can change depending on the yarn and needle size. For this scarf you need each yarn in approximately this strength approx. 400 m on 100 g like Merino Silk, Merino, Cashmere Silk Wool etc. Take a thicker yarn for warm shawl such as Indiecita DK Baby Alpaca. Knit the middle part shorter, with a few pointy teeth.

Short needles or sock needles, circular knitting needles 3.5 mm (US 4). Stitch markers in various colors.

Gauge:
Recommended by manufacturer: 28 sts – 35 rows with Nd. 2,5 – 3,5 mm (US 2 – 4) = 10 cm / 4 inches.

Knitted model finished: 20 sts - 32 rows in Garter Stitch = 10 cm / 4 inches. The left wide zigzag border 10 cm wide, widest part of the zigzag lace border in Stockinette 18 cm.
