Knitting pattern in English

Triangular Shawl Half Shells - Knitting pattern 10 pages Download. Triangular shawl with knitting "on the go" border with pattern  "Half shells". Detailed description, charts with many photos, links with free knitting videos.

The pattern is for advanced knitters or for tough beginners. You will learn how to...:

  • Knitting border "on-the-go" on both sides simultaneously with the main section
  • Knitting on border
  • Turn corners with German Short Rows and Double Stitches
  • sew an invisible seam in Rib pattern
  • new Half Shell pattern
Quantity

The modified triangular shawl has a beautiful border with Half Shells based on a Rib stitch and the middle in Garter stitch. The pattern is fully reversable on both sides. A slightly curved shape lies comfortably around the shoulder and neck.

The Shell edges are knitted simultaneously with the middle part. There is no need to breake yarn. Everything is knitted with only one thread without knots. It gets a little trickier at the corners, which are worked with short rows. Don’t worry: The instructions are written step by step and with many charts.
There is an invisible seam over 13 stitches at the very end. You will also find step-by-step instructions and many links to free videos on how to make Graft in ribbing.
**

As you can see, this pattern is not for first-time knitters and very beginners. You have to be able to understand it all. But you never become a professional if you don’t dare to do more complicated things. It doesn’t get that difficult either ;)
